Nearby in the village of Strachur (less than 2 miles away) you will reach The Creggans Inn Hotel www.creggans-inn.co.uk  providing excellent cuisine served both in the bar and main restaurant with views across the Loch.

Within an easy 10 minute drive (7 miles) is the internationally renowned Loch Fyne Oyster Bar and Shop. Food is served throughout the day. The shop sells a range of seafood and accompaniments, some of which is locally caught and organic. Excellent for stocking up for picnics and for some home cooking. Beyond The Creggans is Inver Cottage at Strathlachlan (5 miles past Strachur) which is a small warm and welcoming restored croft situated on the beautiful shores of Lachlan Bay, Loch Fyne. It's the perfect place to unwind and sample some superb local cooking.  It also has a craft gallery and shop selling an unusual selection of artwork and gifts.

Also with in a 15 minute car drive The 'TV famous' Whistlefield Inn www.whistlefield.co.uk, a 14th Century inn with an open fire and inviting atmosphere. It has a fantastic selection of Malt Whisky and beers and a restaurant with great food and panoramic views over Loch Eck. The Inn is full of intrigue and history and you may well hear of ancient tales of smugglers, tunnels, ghosts and even an ancient massacre during your visit to the Inn. The Inn gained its well-deserved recognition on the TV series 'The House Detectives'.

In Inverary there are a number of excellent restaurants one of which is The George Hotel situated on the Main Street. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere and serves good quality food at a reasonable price.
